Together we can achieve more

Kaumātua, iwi, service providers, the research community and government agencies from throughout the motu will meet in Taranaki next month to harness the potential each group brings to improve the wellbeing of kaumātua.

The 2018 National Kaumātua Service Providers Conference is being held in New Plymouth from 20 to 22 November. The conference theme is ‘Together We Can Achieve More’.

Conference host and Tui Ora Ltd CEO, Hayden Wano, says the conference provides an exciting platform to identify opportunities for our rapidly growing aging population, and what organisations can be doing better for kaumātua.

The National Kaumātua Service Providers Conference acknowledges sponsorship by Te Puni Kōkiri, Ageing Well – National Science Challenge, ACC, Te Pa Harakeke Taranaki DHB Māori Health Unit, CRESA, The University of Waikato, PHARMAC, Building Better Homes, Towns & Cities – National Science Challenge.
