Project Manager - Investment ProcessesThe HRC is the New Zealand Government's principal health research funder. Applications from researchers for funding support are assessed using a peer review process through referees and assessing committees.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our investment processes team to manage the assessment of public health research funding applications. The Project Manager will be required to establish excellent relationships with all stakeholders, administer additional HRC funding opportunities, support the HRC Public Health Research Committee and monitor the progress of successful applicants awarded research contracts.
A relevant health research tertiary qualification, excellent project management skills and experience in public health research are required. Well-developed interpersonal skills and organisational abilities are essential.

HRC Ethics Committee
Call for 'Expressions of Interest' for a new member
The HRC Ethics Committee (HRCEC) is looking for a member to fill an upcoming vacancy. This position will meet the membership criteria set out in the Terms of Reference (available on the HRC website here) and will maintain the appropriate skills within the Committee.
Membership is for a three-year term, renewable for one further three-year period (if so desired). Each year, there are four one or two-day meetings (February, May, August and October). The next HREC meeting where a new member will be required is scheduled for 24 November 2010.
