A recent opinion piece in Ethics Notes provoked a good deal of interest and some consternation among readers. Martin Tolich and Paul Flanagan's article drawing comparisons between what has become known as the unfortunate experiment and the Tuskegee Syphilis Trial (Ethics Notes - November 2009) prompted a number of letters and emails to the HRC, many of them complaining that the article misrepresented events at National Women's.
