It provides an introduction to the key principles and features of the Health Research Council of New Zealand's Partnership Programme, using several different initiatives - the Environmental Health Joint Research Portfolio and the Primary Prevention of Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases Joint Venture - to illustrate the different models used.
