The proposed study aims to investigate 1) the effect of breast screening on the pattern, distribution and survival of breast cancer in Pacific women, and 2) calculate the regional survival rate in all New Zealanders for the five commonest cancers in Pacific people in New Zealand. We will compare the survival rates in the regions where the most Pacific people are resident in New Zealand with other regions of New Zealand.
