Lay summary
This project will examine the current Pacific smoking cessation services operating in NZ, and provide a brief summary of their activities and actions. Using existing data and reports from these services, this study will also look at the effectiveness of these services in dealing with Pacific smokers, and whether this will be sufficient to achieve the NZ smokefree 2025 goal. Finally the report will provide some recommendations for how the current cessation services may be modified to be more effective in contributing to the successful attainment of the NZ smokefree 2025 goal
