This studentship will help start the conversation in sexual health the Pacific communities. The sensitive subject of sexual education in a Pacific community is hard to understand and also why there is a taboo about it. What we can do is look into sexual education in an ethical approach in Pacific community by starting with a literature review to be able to help us build a better understand of this. The lens that will be used to reflect on this area is the ethical concept of autonomy, where the individual can be able to make their choices bases on their own knowledge of sexual education. This is an important concept as you would expect to make decisions based on fully informed decisions. In relation to Pacific people cultural beliefs, values and tradition contributes and plays an important role in making autonomous decision making. The aim is to fill the gaps
