Lay summary
Māori make up 38% of the meat processing workforce. There is some evidence that Māori experience less access to care for musculoskeletal conditions, including in the meat industry. The aim of this research is to explore the experiences of Māori working in the meatworks and their whānau in accessing care for musculoskeletal and cardiovascular conditions.
