Lay summary
Mana Ātea provides a Tikanga lead approach to supporting people with brain injury and disabilities and their whānau. This project is designed in 3 phases which incorporate both psychology research methods and Te Ao Māori world view. The first phase is to allow for Mana Ātea to understand more about the what whānau find useful and the impact the approach has on their lives. The second phase is to use this information to create an impact model and measurement system to allow for ongoing assessment and evaluation. The third phase will use the information from the first two phases to conduct a systems and cost analysis to allow for the creation of resources that allow other services to provide impactful Tikanga lead services.
