This first New Zealand Health Research Strategy brings together science, health, research and innovation to form a more cohesive system that will have the greatest impact on the lives of New Zealanders.

This Statement of Performance Expectations sets out the HRC’s operating intentions for the upcoming financial year, including our key performance indicators and targets, and our financial statements.

This Prioritisation Framework was developed as part of the implementation of the New Zealand Health Research Strategy 2017–2027. It prioritises how and why health research needs to be done in New Zealand in order to drive high-level health and social outcomes and ensure maximum impact from the government’s investment in health.
